Revisiting “Repairing the Breach”

In collaboration with the Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Dean’s Advisory Committee on Equity and Diversity, and sponsored by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the conference celebrated the 20th anniversary of a groundbreaking work on African-American men and boys. 350 individuals attended over the course of the event’s two days. The audience represented 20 states with the furthest travelers coming from California, Canada, and Washington, and included a mix of practitioners, students, scholars, and foundation representatives.
